Topic: Issue connecting with Patelco

As of today, I'm not able to connect to Patelco (was working great yesterday).
Wondering if others have seen the same issue.
It's not even an authentication issue, I just get "Connection refused"

I'm using ofxclient, but I don't think that's relevant.
Anybody else?

The server is unreachable. You can see here that it is not just us. I'm to tired to call Patelco.

Re: Issue connecting with Patelco

I got a response from Patelco:

It appears the OFX server connection was phased out and a recent server change caused the URL connection you were utilizing to completely disconnect. In order to continue to utilize OFX, you will need to manually download the file using your Patelco Online Banking.

So it seems that Patelco is retiring their ofx server. I wonder if enough of us complain they will change their policy.
I've told them that it I can't download my transactions via the ofx server, I'll go to another bank.
I'm not sure why they're doing that.

What's an alternative way to get transactions? Other than logging in on the site an manually going there (horrible)

Re: Issue connecting with Patelco

And connectivity was just turned on again today. It's back to normal.

Unfortunately, the support staff is given incorrect information, which they pass on to members.

Exactly what I was going to post!
Patelco support are clueless.

The server response is awful slow, but better than manual.
