Topic: Mint OFX Implementation

Has anyone here had any experience implementing an OFX server solution that handles requests from Mint?
Any help is appreciated.

Re: Mint OFX Implementation

Someone with a registration more than 30sec old can probably give more useful information, but...

I was unable to use Mint on my Android to log into my bank.  I called the bank up and talked to the guy who runs the OFX server (!) and he couldn't get Mint to login either without emailing their tech support (and it would only work a little while after that).  That, combined with the prompts that Mint gave me as it tried to login (which OFX doesn't use but the webpage does), leads be to believe that it is not using OFX at all (or is using it on a very selective basis) choosing instead to web-scrape the standard login page in other instances.

Needless to say, I don't have Mint installed any longer.

Re: Mint OFX Implementation

Unless something has changed, Mint uses yodlee to download financial data.  I imagine that yodlee uses OFX as well as some proprietary technology to interface with financial institutions.
